A filly with exceptional origins: her father, Larino, is the son of olympic Concorde, an excellent sport stallion whose progeny already compete successfully on the international level. Larino's pedigree includes 4 sires of international winners. Larno's dam, Erina, is the daughter of the stallion Armstrong, the famous son of Ramiro. According to the KWPN judge's report, Erina is a beautiful, expressive mare.

The stallion, Larno, comes from a maternal stock that has produced numerous sport horses. In 1981, her great grandmother (third mother), Rosalinda (by Cassy) received a grade of 10 in the mounted jump in her 3 year old performance test. Ridden by Janny Horsey, she later won numerous 1.3m events. Her grandmother (second mother), Warina (by Ridder), also a winning mare, was labeled "preferent." She was the dam of Romulus, who was successful in CSI (International Show Jumping) competitions taking second in the Gotëborg Grand Prix ridden by Peter Geerink. She also foaled Couperus, sire of the famous stallion, Mr Blue, an excellent show jumper, ridden by Elise Haas. Larino's illustrious maternal lineage goes back to Normann, the leading sire of the Holsteiner breed.

In the Ermelo performance tests, Larino was described as a stallion who jumps with a good forward motion, and a strong mobilization of his hind quarters and back. He has a powerful gallop and a broad jump. In 1997, Larino was the runner-up in the 4 year-old tests in the Netherlands, and in the UTV finals. In the first round for stallions, Larino received a 9 for his jumping range and technique. In 1999, Larino and Peter Geering launched their international career, participating in the Young Horse Cup (1.35m) at Arnhem, La Hague, and Mechelen, and he was named "stallion of the future." In the autumn of 2001, Larino began competing in the Grand Prix, and was ranked 2nd at la Haye, 3rd at Valkenswaard. He had a magnificent clear round during the Nations Cup at Rotterdam and received 6th place in the Grand Prix. He was one of the youngest competitors in the Dutch Championship at Mierlo, where he finished 6th. Larion's oldest progeny are making a very strong impression on the show jumping courses.
